About (EU) EHEVF 2015
Following on from the highly successful European Higher Education Fair India 2014, the Delegation of the European Union to India, in collaboration with EU Member States, is proud to present the European Higher Education Virtual Fair India and South Asia 2015 (EHEVF 2015).
An innovative, ‘Virtual’ initiative, EHEVF 2015 is designed to highlight the many benefits of Europe as a high standard higher education destination, to potential international students, researchers, and academics across India and South Asia.
Essentially EHEVF 2015 comprises two major components – this ‘Online Portal’ and website and the European Higher Education ‘Virtual Fair’.
This online portal/website acts as an interface between India and South Asian students, researchers and academics on the one hand - and European Higher Education institutions on the other. Information is presented in several useful sections including ‘EU countries’ and ‘Subject Specialities’. Each participating European Higher Education Institution also has its own micro-page containing information on programmes and courses, qualifications, institutional background, alumni, scholarships, and even living and accommodation.
Meanwhile the Virtual Fair, which will be held in November 2015, will allow Indian and South Asian student, researchers and academics to interact with European higher education representatives in ‘real time’ and at no-cost via online pavilions, booths and webinars, as well as chat rooms and Google/Skype Hangouts – simulating a ‘real-world’ fair and enabling visitors to ask questions and exchange useful information on European higher education.
