The University of Applied Sciences is one of the most rapidly developing Universities in Poland. It provides education in 12 fields of study with more than 20 specializations at Bachelor and Engineer degree level. These include; Technical (Informatics, Management and Production Engineering, Architecture), Economic (Finance and Accounting), Social (Internal Security), Medical (Nursing, Medical Rescue, Public Health, Cosmetology, Dietetics), Philological ( English, German, Business English), Artistic (Jazz and Popular Music) and Master degree level in Nursing. We offer the following courses in English: Architecture and Urban Planning, English Studies, Business English and selected modules in other faculties (Informatics, Finance and Accounting, Management and Production Engineering, Nursing, Cosmetology).

The University has 8000 graduates and a total of 4,500 students. Currently we have highly developed international cooperation under the following programmes and projects: Erasmus + Programme, Double Diploma Programme, DAAD, Scholarship and Training Fund (FSS Programme), Horizon 2010, POWER, CEEPUS. The University cooperates with 70 European partner universities and other institutions. In terms of facilities, our laboratory equipment conforms to the highest international standards, enabling students to gain a high quality education with valuable practical and theoretical experience.

The non-educational offer includes: sport sections, science clubs, interpersonal and vocational trainings, the academic choir, language courses and others. An Intensive Polish Language Course for foreigners is organized in September. The University also has a number of interfaculty units: Library, Publishing House, Sport Centre, Science Information Centre, International Cooperation Office, Promotion Office, Career Office, Research and Development Centre for Renovation and Conservation, and the Regional Centre for Knowledge Transfer and Innovative Technology.

We also have the Polish Desk of the EuroIndia Centre. The aim of this Desk is the promotion and dissemination of information about Indian culture in our town and region. It also provides individual support and advice in application processes for Indian students wishing to study in Nysa and for Polish students willing to study in India. We cooperate with the EuroIndia Centre in France and the Indo-European Education Foundation in Warsaw (Academic; faculty exchanges, Non-academic and Corporate/MNCs cooperation) and have a honourable patronage of the Embassy of India in Warsaw.
